Being from New Jersey, Edgar trains at Rutgers University as well as at Ricardo’s, where he practices boxing and conditioning. He also trains at All-Stars Academy
Edgar is currently 29 years old and weights in 5’6 and 122 lbs.
Right now he is the current UFC Lightweight Champ but that could change this January.
This will be the second bout between Edgar and Maynard, and actually Maynard is the only opponent to ever beaten Edgar.

Maynard’s training consist of strength and conditioning 3 times a week at well as morning and evening training that consist of techniques and drills and in the evening live sparring.
Maynard also trained under Randy Couture in 2006 and since then he’s had top notch coaches. It should be interesting to watch Edgar vs. Maynard online.

This is a tough one for me, I really don’t know who will come out victorious. What do you think? I just know that this is the first fight of the New Year and I'm not going to miss is for anything. What’s better is I'm not paying to watch it on pay per view. Screw that.
